## Connect to the MCP server

## Typical flow

1. Call `get_portfolio` for all sites, sorted by what needs attention.
2. Call `get_site_brief` for one site: status, scores, root causes, the top 3 decisions with fix price, AI visibility, changes in 7 days and portal links.
3. Only then use the detail tools: `list_tasks`, `list_issues`, `get_keywords`, `get_site_metrics`, `get_ai_visibility`, `get_competitors` and `get_report`.
4. Write actions (`update_task_status`, `order_fix`, `start_scan`, `add_keywords`) need an active subscription.

## Claude Code

1. Add the server: `claude mcp add --transport http vibeking https://vibekingdevelopment.com/mcp`. The default scope is local (this project, only you); add `--scope user` for all your projects, or `--scope project` to write .mcp.json for your team.
2. In Claude Code, run `/mcp` and sign in with your own Vibeking account, or run `claude mcp login vibeking` in your shell.

## Limits

- Without a subscription: 200 MCP calls per month, read actions only.
- Calls are counted per organization per month.
- Data is limited to the organizations of the signed-in user.

The check crawls up to 250 pages of one website and runs 30 checks plus 7 AI checks, and the quick homepage check also runs 7 passive security checks (security headers, SPF, DMARC, DNSSEC). It is free and needs no payment details; the user creates an account with a name, email address and password.
